Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage technologies used by the Rowing Power Index (“RPI”). It complements our Privacy Policy.
2. What We Use
We keep our use of cookies and local storage minimal. We currently use the following categories only:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Strictly necessary (cookie) | Supabase authentication session — keeps you signed in securely. | Session / up to 1 year |
rpi-onboarded | Functional (local storage) | Remembers that you’ve completed the onboarding tour so it doesn’t reappear. | Until cleared |
3. What We Do Not Use
- No advertising cookies or pixels.
- No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, PostHog, Plausible, Mixpanel, etc.).
- No cross-site tracking or cross-context behavioral advertising.
- No social-media tracking pixels.
Because we only use strictly-necessary and functional storage, no cookie-consent banner is shown. If we ever introduce analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this page and add a consent flow before those cookies are set.
4. Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through your settings. Clearing your site data will sign you out and reset your onboarding state. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
5. Third-Party Services
When you complete a Stripe checkout session, Stripe may set cookies on its own hosted checkout page. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s privacy policy. We do not embed Stripe tracking on our own pages.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
